I’ll stop now but there are so many many songs that are from the heart of a man who knew what he wanted to say and knew how to say it. 28 years after it’s release I STILL can’t get enough. This is the only officially released greatest hits album of Harrisons that has both his best with the Beatles combined with his best solo stuff. I may not qualify to comment on George because he life may be a little too important and his music is etched in my soul. I know because I was stationed on Okinawa and bought the John Lennon and Paul McCartney Best Selection, as well as all of the Beatles UK Catalog, which were perfect copies of the 1986 CDs. George was the greatest guy, Tom Petty recalled in 2010, when I asked him about his friend and Traveling Wilburys bandmate, the late Beatle George Harrison. George Harrison will always be remembered as the third Beatle, but he did put out a few good to great solo albums, too.
